1996

Palestra is founded

A group of legal professionals led by Pedro Grández Castro founds Palestra Editores in Lima with the mission of researching and disseminating specialized legal knowledge.

2016

20 years in publishing

Palestra establishes itself as one of the most serious legal publishers in Peru, with a catalog that already brings together leading scholars and legal experts.

2021

25 years in publishing

The publisher gains national and international recognition, expanding its presence in the Latin American legal debate and consolidating its motto: ⏎"The imprint of good law books".

2023

17th World Congress on Procedural Law

Palestra takes an active part in this congress, held in Lima with the support of the PUCP Faculty of Law, publishing the event’s General Reports.

2025

One year, 84 titles

Palestra closes the year with 84 publications covering constitutional, procedural, administrative and labor law and legal theory, reflecting the strength and diversity of its catalog.

2026

Palestra turns 30

The publisher celebrates three decades as a benchmark of legal thought in Peru and the Ibero-American world, with an established presence in both Lima and Madrid.
