At Palestra Editores we understand that the Law is built through dialogue, research and critical reflection. In that spirit, we present issue 12 of our newsletter Con todo derecho, a space that brings together readings, interviews and analysis on topics of special relevance to the legal community.
In this issue, we highlight Palestra on YouTube: Law that is heard and debated, an initiative that seeks to bring legal thought closer through conversations with leading scholars and authors. We also offer a selection of recommended university reading, designed to accompany research courses and strengthen the academic training of law students.
In the Under the legal lens section, we share Chilean professor Sebastián Pizarro’s review of the book by lawyer Javier Paitán, an essential reflection on social protection in old age. Finally, we present a new entry on our academic blog, devoted to the analysis of the removal and suspension of regional and municipal authorities in light of the most recent electoral case law.
